About the Show

We built this because
we needed it

Laptop & Latte is a podcast that refuses to clean up the story. We're here for the women who are building anyway — in spite of the odds, the doubt, and everything that wasn't designed with them in mind.

The story behind the show

Most business content was built by and for a very specific kind of builder — and it shows. The stories that get platformed are polished, the frameworks are frictionless, and the environments are assumed to be stable.

We built Laptop & Latte because that wasn't our reality. We were building real businesses — with real clients, real cashflow problems, real cultural pressure — and the content we consumed never quite mapped to what we were living.

So we started the conversations ourselves. Around laptops, over lattes, asking the questions no one was asking out loud: What does it actually cost? What did you have to become? What did you almost quit over? What got you through?

Laptop & Latte exists to make those conversations public — so that every woman building in an environment that wasn't designed for her knows she is not alone, not behind, and not wrong.

What We Believe
"There is a woman right now sitting in a city that was never designed for her ambition, building something that has never been built before in that context, with tools that weren't made for her, inside a culture that keeps asking her to wait — and she is doing it anyway."

That woman is our guest. That woman is our listener. That woman is who this show is for.

The Team

Meet the Hosts

Two operators. One show. Zero sugarcoating.

Favour Anyaoha

Host & Founder

Favour Anyaoha

Favour is a brand strategist and operator who co-founded Creator Complex. She has spent years building systems, brands, and businesses that survive in environments most people write off. On Laptop & Latte, she brings the framework — the questions that go beneath the surface, the patterns across industries, and the uncomfortable truths the business world keeps soft-pedalling.

She believes your environment is not your excuse, but it is your context — and context changes everything.

Jessica Rogers

Co-Host

Jessica Rogers

Jessica is a builder and communicator with a deep interest in what it takes for women to create, sustain, and scale in contexts where the odds are stacked. She co-hosts with Favour and brings a grounded, incisive energy to every conversation — asking the questions that make guests slow down and tell the truth.

On Laptop & Latte, Jessica is the presence that makes guests feel safe enough to be honest — and challenged enough to go deeper than they planned.

What Sets Us Apart

This Show Is Different

We are not a motivation podcast. We are not a highlight-reel platform. We are the full story.

Context Over Clichés

  • We centre the environments our guests build inside
  • Infrastructure gaps, cultural pressures, economic realities
  • Pretending those don't exist helps no one

Operational Depth

  • Every conversation goes past the surface
  • The decisions, the failures, the specific moments that changed things
  • We want to know how you actually built it

Unfiltered Honesty

  • We do not edit out the doubt
  • We do not skip the hard seasons
  • The struggle is not backstory — it is the story

Women Still in the Build

  • We are not looking for arrivals
  • We want the women in the middle of it
  • That's where the real conversation lives

Think your story belongs here?

We want to hear from women who are in the build — still figuring it out, still showing up, still doing it anyway. If that's you, apply to be a guest.
